S.L.Electrotech was founded in 1970, and is based in Chesterton, three miles north of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. The company provides a consultancy service in electronic design and software development to a wide range of industries and has a complete, up-to-date electrnoic sub-contract manufacturing facility.

S.L.Electrotech manufactures process-handling equipment. This includes patented vibratory feeding systems which are used in the nuclear industry.

S.L.Electrotech specialises in the design and manufacture of Electricity Meter Test equipment, for which it has a world-wide reputation. These products range from large fully-automatic test systems to portable test sets for use in the laboratory or in the field.

S.L.Electrotech maintains its position in a number of highly specialised and intensely competitive markets by constantly improving both their quality and range of its products. Customers are seldom offered an 'off-the-shelf' solution, but an individual answer carefully tailored to their requirements. All software and hardware design and development is carried out in-house.

The company's customer base includes quality critical companies such as Elster Metering Systems, Siemens, BNFL, Norweb and MEB. A world-wide network of agents allows S.L.Electrotech to provide first-class sales and support service in most countries.
